Elegantly-Furnished Offices, Suites Perfect for Startups, Professional Services
Pleasanton Business Solutions, Hacienda's first executive business center, opened on December 1 at 4695 Chabot Drive. After almost three months of renovation, the entire second floor - roughly 19,000 square feet - of Park Plaza I has been transformed into 55 plus offices, three conference rooms, a training room, and a handful of cubicles. All the space is turnkey, so occupants can move into a fully furnished office or two-room suite and start functioning immediately. All the accoutrements necessary to conduct business are at hand, including a professional receptionist to answer calls, fiber optic Internet connectivity, video conferencing, color copiers and printers, client meeting rooms, and support staff for administrative tasks. There is even a large lunch room area for networking with fellow Center occupants.
"This is the perfect situation for a professional services type company - an accountant, attorney, or financial advisor, for example - that wants to have attractive space and receive client visits. It is also ideal for a start-up or as a satellite office for a larger company, one with local representatives or an executive based in this area," says Pleasanton Business Solutions General Manager Pandit Lathi.
"There is a big difference between a business center and renting your own office, where you have to do it all yourself," Lathi continues. "Here, everything is already taken care of. All you need is your own desktop or laptop computer."
Lathi is part of an organization, Shakti Ventures, LLC, that has seen steady growth owning and operating executive business since 1998. He admits the new venture is a bold move but notes that it aligns well with today's business trends.
"Based on current economic conditions, we are often the best option for so many companies, whether they are downsizing or starting on a shoestring," he says.
The hosting company's dozen years of experience have given it first-hand familiarity with what is really important in the business. "Our unsurpassed level of customer service and our relationships set us apart from the competition," Lathi comments. "We know our clients well and we help them present a professional image. Many companies like ours are run by outside managers, but we are onsite and locally owned and operated, so we are very responsive, without having to go through layers of management. Plus, we have all-inclusive pricing, so customers get all the services they deserve in this kind of setting without having to pay a la carte for extras."
Pleasanton Business Services also makes cubicles and conference rooms available on a short-term basis, by the day or even hourly to outside customers who do not need a full-time office. "For a meeting, it's a nice alternative to renting a hotel room, more personal and less expensive, plus we are there to offer support." Another growing sector of the business is the virtual office program, which offers telephone answering, a physical mailing address, and conference room availability at a very reasonable monthly fee. "It's a small price to pay for having that professional image," Lathi notes.
