Documentum Inc. posted record revenue for the quarter ending March 31. Revenues of $15 million represent a 73 percent increase over the first quarter of 1996. Net income was $1.1 million or $.08 per share, up from $532,000 and $0.04, respectively.
Pacific Bell Communications
Pacific Bell Communications (PBC) sponsored the 15th anniversary Women of Achievement, Vision and Excellence (WAVE) luncheon on May 16. The event recognizes women in their efforts to realize their full potential. The event was presented by Alumnae Resources of San Francisco, an organization which promotes career options by providing information, skills and support to college-educated women. The City of Pleasanton has launched its home page on the World Wide Web at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us. The site includes: facts about municipal programs and services; City Council agenda, minutes and meeting schedules; Economic Development opportunities; a directory of City departments; and customer service modules which provide easy access to City services and programs.
Nellcor Puritan Bennett
Nellcor Puritan Bennett has named Dean O. Morton, 65, to its board of directors. Morton retired from Hewlett-Packard Co. in 1992 as executive vice president, chief operating officer and director. He is a member of the board of directors of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals and has served as a public member of the board of commissioners of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is a past vice chairman of the board of Stanford University Hospital.
Kronos Inc.
Contra Costa County, with 8,500 employees, recently selected Kronos Inc.'s Timekeeper C/S software to automate the collection, processing and dissemination of labor management data. The Kronos software will serve as a front end to the County's PeopleSoft HRMS system.
